Progress to Date:

June 2016 – Feasibility study and technology assessment completed by Hodgson Brothers LLP Special Projects.

July 2016 – Project approved by Sleaford and District Civic Trust.

September 2016 – Grant applications submitted through the Lincolnshire Community Foundation.

October 2016 – Grant approved by the Sleaford Town Council Councillor\’s Fund and Dulverton Trust.

December 2016 – The \’Alpha\’ version of the Heritage Trail Website goes live.

December 2016 – Work starts on script writing for demonstration video.

February 2017 – Script completed and tin Hat Productions start filming.

March 2017 – First video uploaded to website. Work now started on finalising a list of suitable locations

June 2017 – Sleaford and District Civic Trust approve list of 8 selected sites for first phase. Plaque design finalised and approved.

July 2017 – Planning and ownership enquiries start.

September 2017 – Agreement reached with all building owners. Building and character history research completed. Plaque production commissioned.

October 2017 – Scripts finalised and casting starts with the help of Sleaford Little Theatre members.

November 2017 – on-site filming of buildings by Tin Hat Productions.

January 2018 – Rehearsals and Filming.

February 2018– Plaques cast at the foundry.

April 2018– The trail opens

January 2019 – Sleaford Medieval Trail link added.

March 2021 – Work starts on research for Sleaford Station re-enactment.

July 2021 – Sleaford Castle re-enactment planned.

March 2022 – Sleaford Station added.

June 2022 – Sleaford Castle added.

March 2023 – Pocket trail map published and distributed.

August 2023 – ECHOES project starts.

December 2023 – ECHOES added to all trail locations.
